Just a few of the fish that have been caught in the Tug Fork River!
West Virginia and Kentucky have a reciprocal license agreement along the Tug Fork allowing a license holder in one state to fish the river's shoreline of the other state. The agreement does not extend into any tributaries, only the riverbanks.
Both states do require licenses for fishing. Be sure to check out their guidelines for all details and regulations.
The Tug Fork River is an excellent Small Mouth Bass fishery but is also home to many other species of game fish.
