🛶 PADDLE CAMP 2024 🛶

Many thanks to all the volunteers and organizations that helped plan and host our first water education day in Mingo County. It was a great day of wonderful weather, perfect river conditions, and eager kids with their families. We all learned about the importance of clean water and paddling safety, then spent time kayaking our beautiful Tug Fork River.

Working with others leads to success! Friends of the Tug Fork River's Board of Directors thanks all of the following for working with us today:

Great Kanawha Resource Conservation & Development, LiKEN - Livelihoods Knowledge Exchange Network, West Virginia Rivers Coalition, Big Laurel Learning Center, National Coal Heritage Area Authority, Williamson Parks & Recreation, Williamson Fire Department, Historic Matewan House / Appalachian Lost & Found, Riley Wilson, Sam Parker, Charles Runyon

Let's do it again next year...
